Alice and her daughter, Molly, take a loaf of bread and jam over to a widowed woman, Marie. While there, Alice asks about a picture of a baby girl. They learn that she was the baby of Marie’s friend, who had sent her with Marie to Zion. Molly decides that Marie really was a pioneer.
