Swan and Shadow: A Swan Lake Story

Kaki Olsen

Sweetwater Books, March 8, 2016

Fantasy
A modern adaptation of Swan Lake. Seventeen-year-old Aislin’s curse is the standard fairy tale fare: swan by day, a regular college student by night, true love as the only cure. After having to cover for Aislin during her swan hours, Aislin’s twin, Maeve, is willing to resort to anything from matchmaking to magic to see her sister live happily (and human) ever after. But does true love even exist outside of fairy tales? Is love really strong enough to break a generational curse? And once a match is found, when Aislin’s beloved discovers the truth, will his fear override their love? Will any of them get their wish?
