Summary

Julie Ridgehaven is called home to Australia from school in California because her fiance, Ron McLaren, is lost in the bush. Accompanied by her friend Betz Condon, she attends to the housekeeping while the men organize a search party for Ron. Ron's kelpie returns to the house after a mysterious disappearance and proceeds to lead Julie to where Ron has fallen into a deep hole.
