It was Salt Lake City in 1869, and the voice was that of Orrin Porter Rockwell, coming from the shadows to invite fifteen year old Seth Dunn and his four closest pals into the wildest adventure of their lives. The Prophet Brigham Young had heard rumors of counterfeiters who intended on having him arrested, and soon discovered none of the brethren were able to crack the case. If the adults could not do it, could the youth? He inquired. Try fifteen year old Seth Dunn. He's the thinker of the Liberty Ward. Rockwell brought them in. "Can you do it?" asked Brigham. "We can try, " replied lanky Seth. "No one can know you are involved, and none of you are to be harmed, " ordered Brigham. It was Porter Rockwell who chuckled and said, "You're right out there among 'em doin' all these things, and no one even suspects. Like a bunch of ghosts. Brigham's Ghost Brigade. " —And the Ghost Brigade was born.
