Amidst the turmoil of the late 1960s, a few citizens desperately believe the criminal justice system needs their help. Now these invisible men are lending their brutal assistance through a group they call The Committee. Criminals beware; vigilantism has never been so well organized.
Although members of the covert group feel they perform valuable public service each time they mete out extra-judicial punishment, their solution is often worse than the problem—like when a couple of unkempt Vietnam veterans pass through town. Sometimes looks can be deceiving—especially in a world where criminals view themselves as heroes.
Now it is up to state trooper Dan Wilde to make sure true justice is served. However, a handful of the men responsible for many of the recent horrific acts of The Committee are standing closer than he knows, and Dan must learn to rely on the powers of heaven if he is to survive.
A fast-paced and spiritually uplifting story, The Committee explores how the gospel strengthens one man’s life as he is forced to face unspeakable evil.
