July 1987 marked the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the first Latter-day Saint Apostles in great Britain. This sesquicentennial program traces the significant contributions of the British saints and their ancestors. Messages from President Ezra Taft Benson, President Gordon B. Hinckley, and other General Authorities are given in celebration of this historic LDS milestone. Journey with KBYU-Television to important sites in Church history such as the Preston Ward, the Benbow Farm, the Liverpool docks, the George Q. Cannon ancestral home on the Isle of Man, and the birthplace of Elder James E. Talmage at Hungerford. Then travel to Western America by following the trail of early Saints who converted to the Church and sailed across the Atlantic to Zion.
