Personal Essay
The author relates a story told by a woman whose daughter, Ethel had died. The woman would cry all the time until she had a dream of heaven, where all the children played except for Ethel, who carried a heavy vase of tears. Ethel explained that the tears were all the tears the woman had cried, and that if the woman would cry less, she could play like the other children. She said that her mother should rejoice that someday they will live together again in heaven with Jesus.
