Too Good To Be True

Taunia L. Bean

American Fork, UT: Covenant Communications, 2004

Novel
Women college students--Fiction; Roommates--Fiction; Mormon women--Fiction; Man-woman relationships--Fiction
College roommates Julia and Morgan are about as different as two friends could possibly be. Julia is a serious student who is working hard to prepare herself for a career in science. Insecure about men, she has set her sights on gaining a degree that will put her on the path to success. Morgan, on the other hand, concentrates on men rather than grades. Beautiful and flirtatious, she wins over almost every male she meets. Despite these differences, years of friendship have helped Julia and Morgan forge a bond that withstands a variety of frustrations. Then one night, Morgan deliberately lures Julia’s boyfriend into a compromising situation that could have serious consequences for everyone involved, including a faraway missionary who hopes that Morgan is waiting for him and each of them will be forced to grow in ways they never could have expected.
