A mother prays desperately for her son, who has fallen ill on his mission and likely doesn't have much time left to live. She thinks about her and her son's life choices and bargains with God for his recovery. The Three Nephites appear to her and tell her to send her son some sage and have him make tea with it in order to be healed.
Received Special Mention in Pushcart Prize XIII.
