Mary Knowles

Mary Ek Knowles was born on May 27, 1909. Her father was Alma Ek, and her mother died when Mary was a baby. She was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Worthen in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Charles Rowland Knowles on June 6, 1928 in Salt Lake City. Mary was an avid writer and had her stories published in a variety of magazines. She was a member of the Blue Quill Writers Club and the Utah League of Writers.
